I enjoy photography because it allows me to be creative and capture beauty in my otherwise frantic life. I'm not the best when it comes to explaining my ideas or thoughts with words, which is what photography helps me achieve.

I work in both Film and Digital format, though I prefer Film as I find it to be much more valueable in an ever growing Digital age.

I am a self-taught photographer since the age of 15, but have taken workshops here and there to ever grow my knowledge and skill. I come from a very creative/art involved family; my father works in the Vancouver Film Industry, my mother is an writer and print/broadcast journalist, and my brother is a talented musician. I believe this exposure to the arts and creative thinking has not only shaped the photographer I am but explains my love for it!
