My boyfriend’s boss recently moved onto a property with a lot of land and decided to get some animals. It just happened a Llama farm down the road was closing, so the owners could retire. Originally he was going to get a bunch of females, but instead he got four young males. Boy are they cute! There are three brothers that are only 11months old named Bubba, Superman and Lexi. Then there is the alpha Flash who is 18months old.
I love visiting because these guys are so funny! They keep the pellets in a Timmie’s tin and every time they see that tin come out, they get all excited. Bubba is pretty greedy and will NOT leave you alone in order to get as much as he can; during my last visit Bubba would not stop staring at me and following me around after I put the tin away, in hopes probably that I would bring it out again haha. He will sneak up and try to shove his face into the tin, he will spit at his brothers to try and get at them. You’ll see in a photo that K is playing defense to keep Bubba out of the tin so Flash can get some.
Instead of just one image, I thought for this wordless Wednesday I’d share a bunch! I am thinking of putting some of them up for sale as prints in the shop, what do you think? Would you buy one of the prints?

Amy - Great pics! I love the ones of the llamas that are portrait style. I like to knit, so I have fondness for llamas, and I would consider buying a print.
Edi - What cuties! I love the brown guy with the white face
He’s such a ham!
Dita Maulani - Great idea to put the images for sale on your shop
Love the llama!
Heather - I think they’d be great as prints! Wonderful photos!

Natalie - Thanks Amy! I’ve been told I take a very “portrait” approach to my photography..even with plants I tend to shoot them as if they were a person haha.
I think I will put them up for sale! Seems a lot of people agree it’s a good idea =) I’ll let you know when I have them up! K’s bosses roommate is actually planning on actually using their wool (is that what is it called?) to knit and such!
Natalie - Hehe. That one is Bubba, Edi. He is a ham but totally my favourite out of the bunch! Such a greedy bugger too, always trying to get the pellets and keep his brothers from the treat! haha.
Natalie - Enough people seem to think it’s a good idea so I definitely will soon! =)
Natalie - Thanks Heather! Thanks for stopping by from the group too! =)
Violet - Oh, those are fabulous…I’m so jealous! I always say I want to live on an alpaca farm one day.
Natalie - Thanks Violet =) My boyfriend’s boss says the Llamas are pretty entertaining and he just sits and watches them all day..so I can imagine how fun it would be to live on a farm with Llamas or Alpacas! =)
