wordless wednesday: snow day!

*Due to the protest yesterday in regards to the PIPA and SOPA bills, this post was post-poned until today.*

This past weekend I took a trip to the mainland to visit with my boyfriend, whose over there working. On Friday night it started to snow while we were hanging out with his cousin and their friends, and when we headed to his mom’s the next day, it was quite the adventure.

I am thankful that my boyfriend drives when we are on the mainland, because I would not have been able to make it to his mom’s without him. It’s not that I can’t drive in snow, it’s that mixed with not -really- knowing where I am going + people speeding even in the snow = nervous Natalie.

I kicked myself for it, but I left my camera at home. I didn’t think I would have a reason to bring it when in reality, I could’ve talked the boyfriend into going on a short adventure with me!

That doesn’t mean I didn’t take -any- photographs though…here are a few shots I snapped with my iPhone:

I captured this in Ruskin, when we attempted to stop by my boyfriend’s shop to check on it.

I love farm land, snow or no snow. (ps. those are horses)

Every time I pass this barn I tell myself I will find a way to pull over and take a photograph. This shot was taken over my shoulder.
